Auto supervision
Check your feet on a daily basis. Should you note any abnormalities, then inform yo ur doctor or Chiropodist-Podiatrist.

Appointments with a chiropodist-podiatrist
If the chiropodist knows you are diabetic he will be able to check your feet’s condition and treat them accordingly. Together with your doctor he will be able to decide whether or not it is necessary to treat your plantar static. They will be able to treat areas of hyperkeratosis on a regular basis using the appropriate equipment.

Prevention
Properly adapted products and simple rules of hygiene help your skin’s resistance.

Also do not forget to…

- Wash daily your feet in warm water.
- Dry your feet very well to avoid maceration and mycosis.
- Never use corn remover.
- Do not cut, but file nails.
- Change your socks or tights daily.
- Never use hot water bottles or electric blankets.
- Never walk barefoot.
- Show any cuts or wounds to a doctor.
